"I just wanted to say that I took time out of my life to come every now and then to edit this website, and to write about the short films that me and my crew have made over the past years. And I just want to thank every person who took time out of their lives to view this site. So thank you to all the viewers and friends that know about the work that we've done and I hope you all enjoyed the short films that we made..." States Ramirez who has said that tomorrow will be the last time he will view this website and make any last touches. He also says that he hopes one day to release all the short films that he's made with his friends on the internet in the future.

It was reported this morning that Stephen Lira spoke to Jimmy E. Ramirez and confirmed that he was indeed going to drop the short film that he has been working on for the past 3 months known as "The Horizon" which was going to be a prequel to his 2010 short film "The Oasis."

Jimmy E. Ramirez has been working on a documentary about the four years he has been working on short films along with Stephen Lira, Dino Ramirez, and Rafael Ruiz. He has now said that he is planning on releasing a 10 minute montage of their short films that they made in high school these past 3 1/2 years. The montage will most likely be released on Facebook and maybe Youtube.

Jimmy E. Ramirez stated "We have decided to drop the film because we already have too much on our plate. Stephen is working on his prequel to 2010's "The Oasis" known as "The Horizon", and Dino is working on his zombie apocalypse film known as "Note 27."

DEP has just reported that Jimmy E. Ramirez has currently dropped his next film titled "Brightness of The Earth" and will be doing another short film titled "The Prime of Life."

Jimmy E. Ramirez has dropped a variety of projects in the past and has done so again with his adventure epic titled "Brightness of The Earth" which was mainly going to be about two warriors trying to find an hourglass to save a collapsing world. "I know I have dropped a lot of projects in the past such as Solidified 2, Broken Remains, and now Brightness of The Earth. But now I want to make my last short film in high school a film about teenage life and I hope that every teenager can relate to it..." States Ramirez who will be writing "The Prime of Life" soon and will be done with it before June.

The Oasis, Existence, Broken Collage, A Collapsing World, and Grasping Reality will be released to the public at the Puente Hills Mall on April 2nd from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

DEP has reported that five of their top short films will be shown at the Puente Hills Mall tomorrow at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Other screenings will be on Sunday April 10th from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm & again from Monday April 11th - Friday April 15th from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

DEP has confirmed that Jimmy E. Ramirez has dropped his post-apocalyptic short film titled "Broken Remains" to make another short film. "Ever since I started Broken Remains, I felt that it wasn't something that I would make. Post-apocalyptic isn't really my genre to make. I like making action and fantasy and drama. So I have a couple of ideas in mind when I begin making my next short film." States Ramirez.

Broken Collage gets ranked # 2 on DEP's Best Short Films

Jimmy E. Ramirez has seen his brother's (Dino Ramirez) short film titled "Broken Collage" and has stated that it is better than Stephen Lira's 2010 short film "The Oasis."

Jimmy E. Ramirez and Rafael Ruiz have confirmed that they will no longer be making their long developing sequel to 2009's "Solidified." Ramirez said a few months ago that he wanted to quit the project, but continued to go on with it because him and Ruiz were working on the script. It was reported that he said he dropped the project this morning because of certain complications. (causing Ruiz to do the same)
"It was a tough decision to make, but it had to be done..." States Ramirez who also says that he will be helping Ruiz on another project...If you look at the page for 2009's Solidified, you can read more about this information in the topic titled "The Falling of Solidified 2."

A Collapsing World gets ranked # 4 on DEP's Best Short Films

Yesterday "A Collapsing World" was finished and Jimmy E. Ramirez showed it to his friends and family...His brother Dino Ramirez had this to say. "I think it's Jimmy's best work..." Dino Ramirez loved it and said that he thinks it is better than "Grasping Reality" in which Jimmy E. Ramirez also wrote and acted as the main character in the film...
"I think Dino did excellent in Collapsing, its like he was once the better actor than me and then left for a while...Then he came back and kicked my ass with his performance, so I am thankful that he made a comeback..." States Jimmy E. Ramirez who spent 6 months to make this short film that is filled with emotion throughout...
